Imagination Runs WILD!

I LOVE THIS GIRL!

I don't want to forget some of the funny things that have been coming out of Karoline's mouth these days... She is almost 5 (can't believe that) and her imagination is her best friend! I love this about her! Here are some of the funny things she has said lately...

Me: "What are you drawing baby?"
Karoline:"Tattoos. They want butterflies."
(I told TJ too much Miami Ink has been on watched!)

Me: "Karoline, What is the tooth-fairy?"
Karoline: "Well, you put your tooth under the pillow & she brings 2 gold coins, ice skates, or a necklace"

ICE SKATES??

Karoline: "Will you text all my friends moms & get them to come over for a dance party?"

WANTING TO TEXT AT 4!! We are in trouble!

Karoline was throwing something in the kitchen...
Me:"Karoline, PLEASE stop!"
Karoline: "My hand is making me do it."
Me: "Tell your hand to stop"
Karoline: "my hand doesn't know any better, it's 0 years old"

And this was last night during our prayer time...
Karoline: "Dear Lord, I pray for my horse, Maggie, and that she will get better so I can ride her when I'm 6."

WHO GOT HER A HORSE?

And it's not just what she says... I love her dress up imagination... Almost every time she comes down stairs she is dressed in a very creative outfit...

Valentines Day

I hope everyone had a great Valentines Day... we sure did! It was VERY busy! I was in charge of the class party at school in Karoline's class but did get to sneak into Anderson's for a few pictures. We had a relaxing afternoon and had a special dinner of shrimp, stuffed salmon, sweet potatoes, and bacon fried brussle sprouts when TJ got home from work. The kids loved having a "fancy dinner" at home.

We got the kids earphone's for their gift. We are all about practical gifts here. Now they can play their games and we don't have to hear all the noise. They think its fun and sometimes its a nice break for us, lets be honest :)

I asked Anderson to take a picture with the heart and of course he make it a guitar!

Delivering her Valentines... Her class made Love Bugs to hold their Valentines.

Karoline and her friend Summer...
Little man in his class...
This is his buddy Sammy... they are SO cute!

Now plugged up :)

Why So Long...

... I know its been a long time (at least for me) since I have blogged. My wonderful computer has given me issues for a while and TJ finally had to wipe it clean, pull everything off I wanted to keep, and start over! It took some time since he is SO busy but I'm back now...

So Here is a recap of a few things that have happened since the New Year...

- TJ quite working at WMBF News. We are really excited when Trey, our pastor, talked to us in December about this being a possibility and TJ just work full time for the church! This has been a HUGE blessing but also makes me a little nervous since we can't quite get our full salary and are still needing a little monthly support. TJ is checking out freelance work for Design/ Video work and Premier continues to be a blessing to make ends meet. We are so thankful God provides in MANY WAYS!

- I am now employed by the YMCA! I have been taking indoor cycling (spinning) classes for a year and one of my instructors kept asking me to apply and challenging me to do it. I wanted to but spinning and talking at the same time made me so nervous! But I applied, got the job, so now I am teaching just twice a week. It's nice because now our membership is free and I get paid to do what I was doing anyway... see God providing in many ways above :)

- Karoline's going to Kindergarten- I cannot believe we are already having to make decisions about my baby girl going to kindergarten! Crazy. our choices were for her to stay at FPC Growing Tree then start 1st grade at the public school or go straight to the public school. Well, TJ and I were not on the same page about this (I wanted to keep her at FPC) but we went and toured the elementary school and Karoline and I really liked it and I think she will do well! My main concern was it being over crowded but after next year the other new local school will be finished and the school will downsize a lot. I feel at peace about this and even excited! Karoline is most excited about having a lunch room and riding the bus home!

- The kids got a playroom! We sold almost all the furniture in the guest room to pay for a playroom for the kids. It turned out really cute. I'll post pics soon. They love it and we love that all their STUFF is in one room!

Over It!

Dear Winter,
We are over it. You can go away now!
Love, The Goff's

Today we are THANKFUL for the warm sunshine. The COLD and RAIN have consumed our days... thankful it's not snow I guess. But I am honestly longing for the warm(er) sunshine and the BEACH! At lease today we got out and played in the yard for a LONG time and took a drive in their little car. Weather man said it's going to get close to 70 this week... Sounds good to me!
