My Plate Is FULL!

There's NO TIME for anything else yet I keep adding things to my plate! SERIOUSLY, PRAY FOR ME! September is going to be CRAZY, but fun. So last week I worked a lot getting ready for preschool & work with a few clients, gymnastics starting back up, plus Wellspring. BUT no matter how busy I always find time for pictures of my funny kids...

My First Closing, My First Paycheck!

"Thank you again for being a part of making a dream of mine having a place at the beach come true. God placed you in my path to help me make it through a very difficult time in my life. We now have a new friendship that will only grow in time."- Sherri

Meet Sherri... She was my first buyer and I got my first pay check this week! I am excited even though it was small but hopefully it will be the first of many! Sherri called our office looking for a one bedroom condo. After talking with her on the phone for a while she shared that her husband just passed away in May of a brain tumor. She is actually a nurse for cancer patients and I cannot imagine what that was like for her. They used to come and vacation in Myrtle Beach and he told her that he wanted her to find her a place at the beach. Such a sweet story!

So after a long search and some creative ways of finding a seller we found Sherri's condo and at a GREAT price! She is SO excited & our friend Tyler will be renovating it for her this winter. After she plans to use her condo as a vacation home and to let all those who supported her and helped her get through her husbands death use it for fun. I am SO happy for Sherri and so glad that I was able to find her place at the beach. Even though this job can be long hours and not steady pay it is worth it when you have clients like Sherri! I'll never forget her!

School Starts Tomorrow... But Only For Me!

This picture has NOTHING to do with my post but I hope it makes you laugh REALLY HARD! This was TJ's twitter picture yesterday... He was watching the kids while I was downstairs... TOO FUNNY!

Okay, now back to school. Did I mention that I will be teaching 4 year olds at Karoline & Anderson's preschool for the month of September? Well, I am. I am taking the place of a teacher who just had a baby. I am nervous, excited, scared of what a crazy month September will turn out to be but the fact is we need the money & the kids will get a break on their tuition. Thank the LORD Danielle teaches 4 yr olds too and plans on holding my hand the whole month :)

So I'll be teaching M-F 8:30am-12:30pm then heading to my office at C21 after school (we are in the middle of a big training program!), open houses on a few Sundays, plus ALL we have to do for Wellspring, launch, and oh yeah, be a wife and a mom somewhere in all of this. My mom, AKA Angel on Earth, has agreed to pretty much take over dinner plans for the family. September will be CRAZY... PRAY FOR ME!

Adoption... Heavy On My Heart

Well, I want to introduce you to a friend of a great friend, Stacey, who's name is Courtney (her kids are pictured above). Courtney has a passion for adoption and she and her husband recently started Faithful Adoption Consultants within the last year. The last week or so I have been glued to their blog. Courtney posted this on Facebook:

"Okay, if you are interested in adoption, or know someone who is..we have just been made aware of 3 seperate situations with African American/Bi-Racial baby girls, being born within the next 2-4 weeks! If you are interested give us a call!! 770-485-7546"

and then...

"Interested in adoption. I just found out about several different situations. African American Twins-boy and Girl due in Nov. ; African American boy due in November; caucasian sex unknown due in November; the list goes on and on!!"

This broke my heart! Seeing sweet pictures of Macy & Lainey born recently and how sweet and precious they are it was hard for the to imagine there are babies on the way right now that do not have a mommy & daddy to love and care for them! There simply are not enough families who have applied for adoption! Loving Christian families are NEEDED!

SO I have NO IDEA why I feel so led to post this but if YOU or anyone YOU KNOW has ever thought about adoption PLEASE contact Courtney! She is awesome and she will help you with ANYTHING you need! She can help especially if you are someone like me and has NO CLUE what to do, how to start. She also says there are MANY grants available to help with the cost of adoption. Believe me, if I had a way I would LOVE to adopt one of these precious babies and who knows, we might one day.

Backyard!!

Every now and then we get a nice cool breeze and it's nice to play outside. Makes us look forward to the fall but I don't want to wish the summer away. I figure we can still swim and go to the beach through October... two more months of summer (maybe!?). But we do enjoy being outside and playing in the backyard! Here are a few shots I took for fun...

Wellspring Is Expecting Update!

I just have to say it is SO amazing to see people catch the vision of Wellspring Church and follow the Lord calling them to give and help our ministry! We have been SO blessed by those of you who have given by purchasing items from our Target & Walmart gift registries! We actually DO NOT NEED any more baby items!
Our nursery is FULL! PRAISE THE LORD! This really has allowed us to use the money we saved to do more outreach to families in our community and advertising for launch! THANK YOU!!

BUT we still have a few things we REALLY need.

We currently have a large shortage of toys/ games for our 3-5 year olds and a few board games for our 1-5 th grade group. We want to have some activities in their tents to play while waiting on our children's programs to begin and other children are checking in. Toys like puzzles, baby doll/ pretend play items, & games like Memory, Twister, Checkers, etc.

If you or someone you know can give and help us with this need please check out our Target & Walmart registry or you can send a gift card if you desire to not pay shipping. Walmart also does the free ship-to-site. If you need more information please EMAIL ME!

Ella Belle- My Dad's Dream Come True

Bill%20and%20Mama[1]
This is a picture of my dad and my grandmother when my dad was about 4 or 5 years old in front of his dad's plane. His love for planes started when he was very little. My dad flew helicopters as a Marine and flew small planes when I was growing up. I used to fly with my dad all the time with my Cabbage patch Doll, Milly, in tow. I cannot believe my mom allowed Brent and I to fly in those tiny planes... So my dad has always LOVED planes.
When dad retired he purchased Ella Belle (named after Ella Pressley, my niece, and Karoline Belle). My dad is leasing the plane out as a business for income but enjoys it every now and then.

My dad flew from Texas and stopped in Griffin to see my grandmother and my aunt, Betty Jo. It was very emotional for Mama because my dad's dream was to have a little plane. Mama cried her eyes out and Betty Jo got to go for a ride. When Dad arrived in Myrtle Beach we took the kids to see the plane. NO my kids, my husband, my mother, and I will NEVER fly in this plane! I will not allow it!! but they can take pictures with it and play while on the ground all day long. So here are the pictures...

This Week Started Out With A BANG...

... right in the back of my car!

I got rear-ended AGAIN... twice in one year! But I am thankful I am okay, just sore, and that my kids were not with me...

BUT it could not have happened at such a BUSY time in my life. Oh well... We have been working like CRAZY! Real Estate and Wellspring, I have put in a LOT of hours! I'm tired. I miss my kids. I miss my kids. I miss my kids.

It's been a rough week but we are really EXCITED about the LAUNCH of WELLSPRING being just ONE MONTH! September 13th will be here before you know it. If you have not checked out the latest posts please visit our Wellspring Partners Blog. There are a few new posts and EXCITING new details about our childrens ministry.

We are VERY thankful for all God is doing and teaching us during this time. I just pray that I can find more time to be still and REST in HIM and listen to His voice!

Here's hoping the rest of the week goes well...

Inspired!

Well, Jason has inspired me!
If you know me or know anything about me you know that I was born with a camera in my hand. I have NO idea how I grew to love the camera so much but I always have! I just have this obsession with capturing memories! I want to learn how to take "real" pictures... meaning not having to keep the camera on just AUTO! So hopefully soon I'll take an online class or something and also dive into the world of photo editing! I took my camera to the beach on Sunday to "practice" a little.

Jumping And Blooming...

Funny title, but those are the subjects and no they don't have anything to do with each other! I hope yall had a great weekend. We did... crazy busy but GREAT! Here are some pictures from the end of last week.

We broke out one of Karoline's Christmas gifts for the first time in a LONG time. The kids have now begun enjoying it as a ball pit to run and jump in like at her gymnastics. It's so fun to watch them play. Keeps them entertained for a good while!

The second is our house. I am bragging... BECAUSE this is the FIRST time I have EVER been successful in keeping flowers ALIVE! I do have to say that like I mentioned once before we didn't plant most of these flowers but really tried to revive what was dead. It may not seem like a lot to you but I am SO excited to know every plant I touch won't die!

And one more RANDOM thing...
026
If your family eats avocados you need one of these! It's great and keeps your avocados fresh, longer after cutting them. It's great... Just one of those random gadgets in the grocery store.
Also, there is a NEW POST on the WELLSPRING PARTNERS blog if you want to see pictures from a Banana's And Bling Party I attended last week. Fun times!
