Insta-Update :)

My camera has not been in hand much lately... mostly just moving boxes, but my cell phone is always around so here is an Instagram update :)

Football season has started... it's going to be a LONG season for Auburn.  We kicked it off by going to our Bama/ Clemson friends house... I had only 2 choices of cups to drink out of :(

Don't worry, I took my Auburn plates to represent :)
There has been a lot of NASCAR watching going on for this little man...
He says this means VICTORY!

I love watching these two go into school together.  They always hold hands :)
... And wear their Auburn gear on Fridays...
... Moving, Moving, Moving...
So thankful for TJ's crossfit friends who helped us with the big stuff...
Church as been awesome!  Lots to celebrate!
I'm a cheer mom!  I love it!  Karoline is learning so much!
It's amazing how a new hair cut can make you feel so good!
These two are getting use to sleeping together :)
Had a FABULOUS Fall VC Launch party!!  So much fun!
 And more football...
Funny little man... his OCD shining through :)
And Buster has settled into Mom and Dads just fine... hogging the sofa as always...

 ... and constantly wanting attention...

PopPop and Nana Linda Came To Visit

TJ's dad and his wife Linda came to visit before the chaos of moving began!  It was such a treat having them come and the kids LOVED it!  We had a great time relaxing, eating out, and showing Linda around Myrtle Beach.  Unfortunately, at the end of their trip Linda got to get to see our local ER!  They were going to leave Monday morning to try and get home before the hurricane came through Alabama and Mississippi, but she woke up with horrible pain and needed to stay in town for a few more days to allow kidney stones to pass.  So they stayed a little longer than planned :(  We are thankful Linda is feeling all better now!  We cannot wait to see them again, hopefully soon!

Dr. Seuss Family Night

Before all craziness broke loose in trying to pack up the house, we had 1 more big family night.  Not sure how "family night" will go while living with my parents but I'm sure we will figure something out every now and then...  We did a Dr. Seuss theme and it worked out that our local movie theater was showing The Lorax as the FREE movie!!  So the kids and I went to see the movie with friends before coming home, making our crafts, yummy desserts and preparing for our green eggs and ham biscuits.  It was a very fun day and we thank Dr. Seuss for all the inspiration!

Thought I would add these too... Anderson wanted me to take pictures of him before church, which never happens so I did... but Karoline could not take a break from her game to join us. haha

SOLD!

We officially closed on our house yesterday.... so the madness has settled down (a little) so I hope to go back and catch up on the blog... stay tuned!  We are settled a little into Mom and Dads house and praying for wisdom in picking out a lot for us to build on.  I am terrified of this adventure ahead of us! :)

God Blessed This House

I have such mixed feelings tonight.  I could possibly have put my kids to bed in their bedrooms for the last time.  Tomorrow we will move out of our home.  This house has been such a blessing.  We moved in when Anderson had just turned 1 and Karoline was 2 1/2.  This is really the only house they really know.  They were too young to remember our California home.  They learned so much and became a little man and little woman in this house!  They both experience their first days of school in this house.  The kids and even us have changed a lot in the almost 4 years we have lived here. This house has changed so much since we moved in and we are sad to leave but excited about the possibility of building another home. We should close on this house early next week and will move in with my parents.  That should be a fun journey.

But I cannot help but see Gods hands in all of this.  Yesterday my mom called telling me Dad was taken to the hospital via ambulance.  We arrived there shortly after and Mom and I were with him in the ER.  We were just talking when Dad began to have another bad seizure.  It was the SCARIEST thing I have EVER seen!  It broke my heart to see my dad so helpless and I could do nothing to help him.  All I could do was run out of the room and scream for help!

Tests have been run and there is no major damage but we have a long road ahead of us to make sure Dad is healthy.  Dad cannot drive and really should not be alone for at least 6 months.  I am thankful that with our moving in we might can help out.  Cook healthy food, go on family walks, and just be there for support.  Maybe this was what God had planned.  I don't know for sure and I could be wrong but for now, I am thankful.

So we begin another journey of our lives.  We will begin to look for a lot and pray for a "only God could do that" price :)  And pray that God will help us and guide our choices as we build a new home for our family that might be our home for a VERY long time... because this moving thing is for the birds... my back is done :)  How do we have so much stuff!  I wanted to post the pictures from our listing so I can remember my house clean :) haha

Thank you Lord for this house.  Thank you for the memories made and providing this home when we desperately needed it and helped us settle into life here in Myrtle Beach!  Thank you for the blessings of great neighbors and protection.  Thank you for our buyers who came quickly and may this home be a huge blessing for them and their young children as well!  Lord you are good and faithful!  In the good and the bad, YOU are faithful!
