Anderson's Birthday Party

We had such a fun time at Anderson's birthday party! Our sweet, amazing friends helped make the day extra special! Anderson had fun playing with all the other children and being with so many people who just love on him! We were especially greatful that Gammy was with us to celebrate... she was a HUGE help! Here are a LOT of pictures...






The Suttles- Joe and Kared are SO sweet and Joe is one of Karoline's favorite baby sitters. We just LOVE the Suttles.

Isabel showed up wearing a smocked outfit!! My southern ways are rubbing off on Emily.

The Goodmans- Greg and Susan are so sweet! Susan keeps Anderson in the nursery and Greg is an amazing cook and we love eating what he cooks. TJ's parents stay with them when they come into town.

All the children had fun playing! Karoline LOVES playing with Julia, Avery, and Shasta!


Tammie, Diane, and Misi... such dear friends that I am going to miss SO MUCH!!

Time to open gifts... He got some cute play cars, a Laugh and Learn tool bag, lots of books, a Doodle Pro, and great gift cards. We were so appriciative of the gifts from our sweet friends!




We all has such a fun evening!
Okay... I have to get serious about packing so blogging will take a back seat for a while! There is so much to do. So far we have 70 or so boxes packed but many more to go! Keep praying for us as we are raising support, moving, traveling... We are excited about all that God is doing in our lives but it is going to be hard leaving all our friends here!

The Last...

...Scrapbook Night.
Wednesday I got together with the girls for our last night of scrapbooking. It was so much fun and I will really miss getting together with Kelly, Christa, Christi, and Emily! Kelly, Christa, and Christi are so talented... and Emily is learning! Just kidding... Emily really has done well with her scrapbooking. I am very proud of you Emily!

...Visit With Whisper.
We went to visit Whisper for the last time! I was sad but he is going to be SO happy! He already has been to the vet and has his teeth cleaned, a spot removed from his eye (that we could have never afforded to have removed), walks everyday (and he's lost 3 lbs!), and he is in heaven.

Anderson's Birthday & STATS

Our sweet Anderson man is a VERY active little one year old. Here are some things I want to remember about my Mr. Happy:
- Loves whole milk and no longer has a bottle
- Prefers finger foods... peas, cheese, broccoli, banana... the list could go on forever. The boy is already eating us out of house and home! All he wants to do is PLAY PLAY PLAY and EAT EAT EAT!!
- Still only has 7 teeth but is teething majorly!
- Loves to say Mama, Dada, duck, and that
- LOVES playing with his sister especially in the pop up tunnel. They also love playing outside together. Anderson's trying to teach Karoline not to be afraid to get a little dirty.
- Loves to play with daddy... especially if they are wrestling!
- Walks full time now... he is SO fast. He has to keep up with Karoline.
- Still take two naps and goes to bed at 7:45pm and wakes up around 8:30am... He loves to sleep! Still sleeps in a sleep sack & his "special shoes". He will have to wear his shoes for another month or so.
- Anderson is the most lovable little boy! It is so easy to put a smile on his face and he LOVES kisses and hugs.

Anderson's birthday party is on Saturday so on his birthday we just made cupcakes. Karoline helped me put on the icing. This was the first time I have allowed Karoline to be a cook in the kitchen. I am a lot like Kate on Jon & Kate +8! I HATE a MESS and so this was a big step for me. Luckly Karoline does not like too much of a mess either so she did great!

Karoline can't stand not being in a picture so she came in to crash our photo shoot. I didn't mind!


Anderson LOVES to play outside... he is really wanting to figure out how to climb the climbing wall on the swing set.

Anderson's A... He had no clue what to think of it but once he tasted the icing he was all for it. They were SO good.

Happy FIRST Birthday Anderson!

My Sweet little William Anderson Roy is one year old!

I cannot believe it. What a blessing he has been to our family. From the moment he was born he was an "easy baby". He has his moments but he is the happiest child! That's why we call him "Mr. Happy" sometimes. We really cannot imagine our lives without our Little Man. TJ, Karoline, and I all adore him and love on him all day long! These pictures bring back such amazing memories...






Anderson's birthday party is on Saturday! We cannot wait to celebrate with our sweet friends here. We go to the doctor tomorrow so I will post his STATS.

California Academy of Science

Monday we went to the California Academy of Science in the Golden Gate Park. It was OK but really I think Karoline was too young and there were no toddler play/ exploring areas. The two big attractions are the planetarium and the rain forest walk. We could not do either one. She was too young for the planetarium and didn't like the rain forest animals being "free" to fly around. So I was very thankful we were given free tickets because I would have died it we would have spent $50 on going... the zoo would have been better. For older kids it would have been GREAT! After we went to the botanical gardens and that was our favorite part of the day!

Karoline was scared from the moment she looked at the first live animal... even the stuffed animals scared her!

I tried to get Karoline to go into a tunnel where you felt like you were in with the fish... It was a NO GO!

Scared of everything else but this HUGE dino... she thought she was in a Diego video.

We went to the Botanical Gardens after and they had a ton of ducks. Anderson LOVED the ducks. He kept saying duck to the best of his ability. It was precious!




Tonight Karoline put on her nightgown... it's a size 4 so I was not sure if it would be too big but she wanted to wear it. She put it on and she said "Mommy, I'm an angel!" It was so cute! Also, my mom is finally here! Praise the LORD!
