Help Minister To Myrtle Beach Teens

Family and Friends,

I was asked to participate in a fundraiser for Ground Zero (A wonderful ministry for teens in Myrtle Beach) and it's a Dragon Boat Race! Each member of our team is responsible for raising at least $100.00. That's not too much but I need your help! If you can donate, $10, $15, or $25, please send a check written out to Ground Zero and it is tax deductible! I have raise $37 so far! You can send the check to my address 522 Carolina Farms Blvd, Myrtle Beach, SC 29579. All donations need to be mailed by April 9th! It's for a WONDERFUL cause and you can cheer my team on to victory! I just hope I don't fall out of the boat. You can watch a video and read about the purpose of the race here... http://documents.groundzeromb.com/

Here is Ground Zero's purpose:
GZ Events connect teenagers to Christ at exciting, high-quality, relevant experiences that present the gospel with excellence and energy. GZ Impact Events: outreach experiences that present the gospel in a way that is relevant to teenagers. GZ Impact Worship: quality youth worship experiences that bring teenagers together for praise, prayer and a biblical message. GZ Impact Training: quality leadership and ministry training events that equip those who work with teenagers

Thanks!

Ketchup

I posted three new posts tonight!
I have been behind on my blogging!

They Are HERE!

Eric, April, Alli, and Sam arrived in Myrtle Beach last Thursday! We are SO excited they are finally here! It still seems crazy that they are here! We PRAISE the Lord for all He has done and continues to do through The Colquett Family! Trey, Danielle, David, and Jon came over Sunday night along with The Colquett's and we had a great time! Karoline and Alli are already the best of friends! Sam is the cutest, sweetest little boy! So here are a few pictures of the 6 cutest kids in Myrtle Beach :)

TJ having a moment with the little boys... Anderson, Jon, and Sam.

FIRST SOCCER GAME!

The Princess has started playing soccer and has a pair of PINK soccer cleats! She's on the orange team, the Tigers! How perfect. She is getting the hang of the game... we think! What we know is that she sure does look cute playing!

Coming up with a game plan...
And this is how it went most of the time she was "playing"... she's watching them play.
And what you don't see in this picture is the rest of the teams at the other end of the field :) HAHA

When she had her first practice she said "Mommy, I want to be a cheerleader one day and let someone else play soccer."... We might be trying cheerleading in the summer :)

St. Patrick's Day Parade

Our sweet friends, Amy, Bryant, and Abby asked us to tag along with them at the North Myrtle Beach St. Patrick's Day Parade. Bryant has lived in Myrtle Beach for a long time and they know all the "must do" things around Myrtle Beach. Amy actually grew up in Alabama and went to Alabama- BOOOOO :) But she's just too sweet and we get along great :) It was a HUGE parade and the kids had a blast. Anderson was scared at first but by the end he was enjoying jumping into the streets to get candy. It was kind of a chilly day so we had to bundle up a little.

Karoline thought there were real Princess's in the parade! She LOVED it!

Such a big boy!

My Princess Karoline Belle

Can my baby really be four years old!? My sweet Karoline Belle has grown up faster than I could have imagined. She is such a blessing! I think I would have to say that she has the most tender spirit and loves to be loved and to love others! I LOVE her heart! Though she can act like a 14 year old some days rather than a 4 year old, most of the time Karoline just wants someone to sit on the sofa with her and cuddle! I love it. She is a people pleaser & always cautious like her Gammy & is into baking and creating art like her GiGi. She loves to dance like her Gandaddy & listen and play music like her PopPop! Most of the time she is the child with the calm, quiet personality like her daddy, but loves to have a fit every now and then, shop and has an obsession with dresses like me! I just love every bit of who she is and what she is becoming! I love you Princess Karoline Belle!

Meet Jenifer

For Karoline's 4th birthday I thought it would be a good time to sponsor a child through Compassion International... sounds a little strange, but she's at such a teachable age right now and I have wanted to sponsor a child for a while and now just seemed like the right time. I want her to have an understanding of the importance of giving to others, praying for others, that we are SO blessed by God, and that even though she does not have a sister (which she wants really bad, but too bad) she can have a sister in Christ across the world!

I picked a girl Karoline's age so they will kind of be doing similar things throughout life. I wanted Karoline to be able to relate to her. Her name is Jenifer and she lives in Peru. She loves looking at Jenifer's picture and praying for her every night. I am excited about this new journey for Karoline and Jenifer and hope they will get to know each other well!

Karoline's Birthday Party

Miss Princess Karoline enjoyed her gymnastics party with several of her friends on her birthday, Saturday, March 6th. It was crazy to think that four years before we were in a hospital in California shocked to know that I was in labor and our little girl was coming that day! NOW she is a beautiful, active, precious, loving 4 YEAR OLD! It's just crazy! We love our little girl so much. I want to do a post on Karoline at 4 later but for now here are a few birthday party pictures...

Here are some of my sweet friends, Julie, Emily, (me), Alice, Suzanne, Liz, Shannon

Danielle, Amanda, Amy- I am very thankful for these sweet ladies!

Beautiful cake made by Alice!

I made chocolate covered marshmallow pop's and

chocolate covered pretzel sticks as the party gifts.

Karoline had such a great day and we are so thankful for our friends who celebrated with us and that my parents got to be with her on her birthday. It's the first time my parents have been with her on a birthday. So fun.
