Sometimes I am just amazed when I talk to Karoline. I feel like she is getting so big...well, she is I guess. Anyway, here are some cute things Karoline has said to TJ and I... There are TONS more and I wish I could remember them all. Sometimes TJ and I just look at eachother like "Did she just say that!?"... I love this age!

Anderson is in his swing crying and Karoline is buckled in her booster seat unable to help her crying brother.
"Mommy! Peter Rabbit on sofa. Bunny on sofa."
She was concerned that Anderson was crying and wanted Peter Rabit and she was instructing me to go get it.

A few hours later Anderson is crying while I am holding him and Karoline was just playing around the house. Next thing I know she runs up with Peter Rabbit and sets it on Anderson's lap and says "here you go Andersen"! (She pronounces Anderson, Andersen.

There is so much more and if you could only hear her sweet little voice saying these things... Okay, I am just one proud mommy rambling!

Anderson Graduated!

It was a beautiful sunny day, not a cloud in the sky. I was sitting in my back yard with a short sleeve shirt on and capri pants nursing Anderson and watching Karoline play and I decided to call Natalie... My poor best friend in Vermont watching the snow fall and continue to pile up outside as she is snowed in her house! Well, it will only be three more days before she arrives for a visit!! We are so excited that Natalie, Emma Raines, and Wayne are coming. We are also having Karoline's party on Sunday so it is going to be a crazy next few days so that is why I am doing such a long post for my sweet mom... Enjoy!
Oh, and Anderson graduated out of his size 1 diapers and is now in a size 2!!! He is getting so big!

Anderson started rice cereal this week. It takes a while for babies to learn to eat solids so I thought we would go ahead and start since he is four months old. He does not like really so far. He will only take about 5 bites at each "meal".

It was so great getting to go into the back yard and play with the kids today. I think we were out there for almost three hours. It was a beautiful day.

Fun With GiGi

We had a great time with GiGi this past week. She went home on Tuesday night after the kids went to bed. It was so much fun having her here. She was a big help and watched the kids often for us while we went to a wedding, ran around town (trying to get ready for the birthday party) and got stuff done around the house. Unfortunately it was cold and it rained most of the time so we didn't get out much. Anyway... here are some cute pictures.

A Season of Visitors!!

My handsome sweet little man... the pictures have nothing to do with the title but they are cute...




I feel like we are in a season of visitors and it is so fun. TJ's mom is here now and it is great having her here. She has to leave late Tuesday night and then we get ready for Natalie (my best friend), Wayne, and Emma Raines to come on Saturday for a week. I am SO EXCITED they are coming. This will be their first time visiting! Then in April my mom comes back for a while and the most exciting part is my brother, Brent, sister in law, Leigh, and my niece, Pressley and nephew, Jackson are coming to visit for 5 days!!! I LOVE having visitors. It is fun for Karoline too because we "study" their pictures all the time and now she can spend some time with them! Anyway, just wanted to post my excitement! Anyone else out there feel like flying west come on out... we would love to see you!

Anderson is 4 Months Old!

I cannot believe my little man is 4 months old! Today we took him to the doctor because we thought he had an eye infection but he does not thank goodness! But they did weigh him and he was 13 lbs. 8.4oz. His 4 month well check is not until March 13th which will be closer to 5 months so I won't have any STATS until then.

Anderson got some new kicks... They are little baby New Balance shoes. His doctor said to get him some athletic shoes (so he can take up running I guess). Are they not the cutest!!


Of course while Barna is here she had to make a cake! She makes the best cakes... so we celebrated Karoline and her birthday coming up in March. Karoline loved singing happy birthday to herself.


This is the position Anderson is in almost every night from about 7PM until bath or bedtime. TJ has to stand up with him or he get fussy. He loves his daddy's magic hold.

An Early Birthday GIft and No Cast!

After Anderson's doctors appt. I picked up Karoline's birthday present from Gammy and Gandaddy today and she loves it!! Huggums has a high chair! THANKS GAMMY!




Anderson's Doctor's Appt.
The doctor thought Anderson's foot looked really good and thought he didn't need another cast! I was so excited. I have to go back in two weeks to make sure it is not moving back but he said that should not happen. Anderson was quite the happy little boy. He did say to always buy Stride Rite shoes for a few years... GREAT another child with expensive feet!!!! But it is worth it I know!

A Day of Freedom!

I got up at 8AM (I HATE getting up before 8:30!), got ready before the kids got up at 8:30/ 8:45ish, and we were hurrying to get out of the house for Anderson's doctors appt. this morning when the phone range and his appt. was canceled. But we took his cast off on Monday night so he got to have a day of freedom!! I think he enjoyed it. His foot looks great and we can really tell that it is getting better!!

Okay... There are a LOT of pictures that will hopefully keep my mom happy for the next few days. TJ's mom is coming tomorrow for 6 days and we are so excited. But I am sure we will be busy so I won't have as much time to post. I am going to try and take advantage of her being here and run some errands during nap time... I have a lot of birthday party planning to get done! Karoline's party is on March 2nd! Anyway... Here are the pictures.

This is how we soaked off his cast this time around. Because it was 2 weeks old it didn't take as long to soak off. It took about 30 minutes...He never complained one second. He is such a content little man (very different from his sister!)

First official trip down the slide!!! It was so slick she slid off and landed in the grass... and we all know how she feels about grass! She screamed for me to get her up because she was not about to touch it!

Sweet TJ! That man spent so much time on this swing set but at 9:40PM tonight he FINISHED!!! Karoline LOVES it although she only got to play on the slide today. She is going to be so excited when we take her outside tomorrow...
Sorry no pictures of Anderson... I have a whole other post for him but it is almost midnight and I have to go to bed so check back tomorrow or Wednesday! He gets a new cast put on tomorrow!
