Happy Halloween!

Halloween was fun but kind of sad because the 4 of us were separated.  Mom, Karoline and I were in Atlanta and TJ stayed in Myrtle Beach with Anderson.  They had a blast at a party with lots of fun friends and did a LOT of trick or treating... Anderson FINALLY was something other than a football player.  It only took a year for him to wear the fireman costume :)  I was so proud and he was so cute...

Karoline wanted to be a black cat and we got to trick or treat in Atlanta with Pressley.  We had a fun time with Uncle Brent helping pass out candy and walking around with Pressley, Aunt Leigh and getting to be with Jackson.  It was a fun night...

Karoline was not sure of Uncle Brent's mask

Jackson is getting SO much taller than me... so strange!
Brent has his hiking backpack ready for his trip and got me to try it on.  I would not last 5 minutes with that thing on my back.  I don't know how he does it for days in the wilderness :)

Pinterest Inspired Halloween Decor

Sometimes I wonder how my mom survived without Pinterest... I love being crafty but I am NOT good at coming up with simple, low cost, ideas on my own... therefore Pinterest is my BEST friend! One day I woke up knowing I have a very long day of studying ahead of me.  But then the Pinterest bug got a hold of me!  I headed to the craft store so that when the kids got home we could decorate the house a little for Halloween.  It was a lot of fun... And I think it turned out pretty cute.

Happy Birthday Anderson!

How is it that this precious, FULL of energy, and hysterical little man is now 5!  My BABY is 5!

Anderson, you are an amazing little man.  You LOVE to wake up early and start your day... you are the energy that keeps us all on our toes!  You have your daddy's sense of humor and my attitude (stubbornness... haha)... I laugh because I see myself in you so much!  So for your 5th birthday I have 5 funny things about you that I love...

1) You LOVE to tackle... planning on some kind of athletic scholarship...
2) You LOVE to line things up... food, cars, coins, balls... you are very organized
3) You make me give you 5 kisses and 5 hugs every night before bed (it was 4 but now that you are 5 we added 1 more)
4) You love to do silly dances... the comedian in you loving the attention :)
5) You love to just be in your room watching football or NASCAR all the time... Its so funny!

On Anderson's birthday I went to have lunch with him and stayed after to have lunch with Karoline too... Gammy and Gandaddy had to leave for a trip but we got a quick picture before they left. Then when TJ got home from work it was time to PARTY!  Anderson wanted to go play at the NASCAR Speedpark and go to "The Pyramid" (Hard Rock Cafe) for dinner...  Anderson loved all the NASCAR stuff and riding go-carts for the first time!  It was a fun little celebration with our family.  I love my family so much... we are so BLESSED to have our little man!

Anderson's Birthday Party

We had such a fun afternoon celebrating our sweet boy who is almost 5!  Anderson had a VERY fun party at Ultimate Gymnastics Academy and Coach Brody gave it a little football twist for us!  I think the kids had a BLAST!  They had tackle practice, played flag football and did everything else in the gym!  They had such a great time!  We are thankful for sweet friends to share moments like today.  Anderson came home and opened his gifts and he got lots of Lego's to use with his new Lego table from Gammy and Gandaddy.  HAPPY (almost) BIRTHDAY ANDERSON!
