Thanksgiving!

We had a very nice and quiet (as quiet as you can get with 2 children around) Thanksgiving.  We let TJ do most of the cooking and of course it was fabulous!  He is the king of traditional holiday meals and cook Barna's favorites!  We love watching the parade on TV and just relaxing.  It was extra nice because the weather actually felt like it was Thanksgiving and less like we needed to head to the beach!  

                 Karoline wrote a precious poem that she read before we ate our meal... It said 
"We love thanksgiving turkey and ham. let us give thanks let us give care. Thanksgiving is all about giving thanks.  we love thanksgiving. give us a shout, give us a moment of family time to that what thanksgiving is all about."

Field Trips and Football

Playing catch up... I went on 2 field trips with Anderson's class and I wanted to add a couple of pictures from a MB high school game... School has me way behind on the blog :)

Anderson's class went on a field trip to the Library in September and I got to tag along!

Had so much fun this year taking both kids to a MB High School football game.  Look forward to doing this more often as they grow up.  It was a beautiful night...

Voting- Election 2012

I won't get into politics but this was the first Presidential voting that my kids actually could understand what was going on... they were out of school and Karoline made her own ballot box and went with my parents to experience voting.  But it was a cold, rainy day and the kids were going stur-crazy in the house.  I ended up taking them to pay at Chickfila to get some energy out.  

Karoline wanted to know the results of the Romney vs. Obama election so we woke her up after midnight and let her watch the news with us... she was interested all of 2 minutes.  

Quick Visit with Friends and New Babies!

While in Atlanta we made sure that we got to see some sweet friends and meet some new babies... we were tight on time but I'll take a quick visit over no visit anyway!  Thankful for such amazing friends! 

This WAS HYSTERICAL!  I cannot believe our moms have iPhones!  They have come SO far!

Karoline played in the leaves with Lee... She has never done that before :)  We don't have lots of leaves.

QUICK visit with Sarah and her boys before we headed back to the hotel but it was so great seeing Grey and meeting Sanders!  SUCH SWEET boys!!

Karoline and Emily are ready to head home... great getaway!
