Christmas At School...

SANTA and his crew greeted the students on their last day before winter break!

Karoline's class had a cute winter festival. It was pajama day but this Mom didn't get the memo. I dressed her in a super cute Christmas dress and in the drop off line the tears started coming as we watched everyone walking in with PJ's... so I went straight home, and straight back to the school with her Christmas PJ's...

Yeah, I forgot my camera to Anderson's school performance but some friends got a few photo's for me. He was so cute and loved singing on stage... wonder where he gets that from :)

Crazy Fun Times...

SPLASH... It's Christmas time at the beach!

It's been quite the crazy holiday season which bring about lots of fun and activities that causes my brain to not work correctly and I become forgetful... So, on that note all of these pictures are taken with my cell phone or I took from friends on Facebook. But yes, we got to go swimming at an indoor water park as part of a friends birthday party. The kids had a great time..

We got to have breakfast at Hard Rock Cafe with friends and see Santa...

But despite it being December it's still golf cart weather and
we like to hitch a ride with our friends from the bus stop...

And tis the season for Christmas parties and I won tackiest jewelry at my Premier party :)

We went to help mom decorate because she needed a little motivation :)

Anderson's class went to see The Nutcracker ballet... I loved it but ballet and 4 yr olds don't mix.

Karoline's little (actually really big) kindergarten had a great performance.

Her sweet friends Daphne and Thatcher in her class...

A friend took Anderson to the park to play and she
sent me this picture... a little dizzy from the tire swing :)

Anderson's performance day...
Karoline excited to join her class as they went to a local nursing home to sing Christmas music...

This are pictures other friends took for me since I forgot my camera :)

The Elf That Backfires

This year Francis the Elf came to our house... shame on me for being creative with the Elf. If you don't know the story behind the "Efl On The Shelf" the elf comes to live with the family and watches and listens to see how "good" the kids are and every night he must fly back to the North Pole and report to Santa. Therefor the elf fly's back each night, landing in a different place. Also, you cannot touch your Elf or he will lose his magic powers and can't fly back to the North Pole! When it's TJ's responsibility to move Francis he just sits somewhere like this...

I try and be a little creative with Francis (don't think they are original ideas!) and all it has done is backfire...

Roasting Marshmellows
Karoline was afraid that the house was going to burn down if Francis lit the candle all day long...

Snow Angel
TJ was upset we had limited counter space because this mess had to say out all day long...

Funny Pictures
Karoline was SO MAD she had a mustache and Anderson was very upset about his drawings...

Sunday Drive With Barbie
First, it completely freaked Karoline out that the Elf had gone into her room to get the Barbie car and Barbie, AND she wanted to play with it but couldn't touch the Elf.

SUGAR Rush
TJ again annoyed by the mess in the kitchen and then we though our syrup might go bad if we left it open all day. We had to tell the Elf we had to close it for the rest of the day...

Bubble Bath
They thought this was cute but the kids would NOT go to the
bathroom because the Elf was watching!

Planking
Planking... this would have been fine if we had not just watched a video of people getting hurt planking so they kids were a little worried about Francis getting hurt, but not too bad.

Rolling "Toomers Corner"
Anderson sad that Francis took his Auburn Santa out of his room...

OH well, it's still lots of fun! :) I will tell Francis to keep his funny jokes to a minimum.

Ho-Ho-Ho!

Merry Christmas!...

We are about to dive in full force this week! Tomorrow we begin with a field trip with Anderson's class to see The Nutcracker and the week continues with preparation, Christmas dinners, Christmas programs, throw in a jewelry show, and my parents going out of town (which they will be missed!). Makes for some crazy times, but I LOVE it! At least I'm finished with my Christmas shopping!

Thanksgiving!

We were thankful to have my brother and his family here for Thanksgiving! We had a great time... we started off the day with yummy blueberry french toast and the Thanksgiving Parade while the men, minus TJ (he was in charge of cooking), played golf. Then the day was full of football and food! We ended the day with all 10 of us on my sofa watching TJ and just hanging out... it was perfect. The kids had a BLAST with their cousins! I am thankful for my family!

Pressley came and helped out with Anderson's class party. He was excited to have her there!
