4th Of July & A Re-Do...

 We had a pretty low key 4th of July... we were quite busy working in the house (and I'll explain that later) but TJ took the kids to the pool with some friends so I could get some stuff done and I made a few treats real quickly...  We had a good dinner then went to see fireworks at Broadway at The Beach.  They were horrible... lasting about 7 minutes and were quite pathetic.  In fact they were so pathetic that they appoligized and said they would re-do the fireworks again on Friday night (see pictures below). 

 

 

 ... So Friday Brent, Leigh, Jackson, and Pressley came back after their trip with Leigh's family... Dad made a yummy Lupper (lunch/dinner) with ribs, shrimp and other yummy food!  Then later we went for the fireworks re-do...  They were MUCH, MUCH better!  And it was fun having Jackson and Pressley to see them with.  We were sad when they went home Sunday.  It was a great 4th weekend.

 
 

Myrtle Waves

We decided that this year we were ready to go season passes to the water park.  Instead of doing any camps or anything, we are spending our time in the water.  We get to meet up with friends often and it is really fun.  Now I grew up with White Water and you talk about a LOT of rides, Myrtle Waves seems tiny to me but is apparently the largest water park in South Carolina.  Whatever... one day I'm taking them to White Water!  They won't believe it!  .... Here's to staying cool on a hot summer day...
