End of Soccer Season

Today was Karoline's last soccer game and team pizza party. This season was interesting and I hope that as time goes on she gets more interested but we'll see. Here are some of my favorite quotes from Karoline...

So there may or may not be a future in soccer but it was a good start! She did get lots of practice doing her ballet twirls during the games :) Here are a few pictures from today!

We had such a fun trip and tried to fit in a little photo shoot before our seafood dinner... a few cute pictures but I guess at this age it's just hard to get the "perfect" shot.

The BEST Reason To Skip School

We totally skipped school to go to the beach Friday because cousin ELLA and LAINEY came to town! Lainey stayed home with GiGi but the rest of us headed to the beach for a couple of hours. Ella, Karoline, & Anderson had a BLAST playing in the sand and water! We were thankful for such a beautiful day!

Dragons & Alligators

Saturday TJ and I were on a few teams participating in a Dragon Boat Race to benefit Ground Zero, a organization focusing on ministering to teens in Myrtle Beach. It was SO MUCH FUN! TJ raced for Mellow Mushroom with our friend Bryant and I for my friend Amy's team. We both raced with team WMBF News, TJ's other employer. Did I already say WE HAD A BLAST! Karoline and Anderson had fun too and thought it was so cool that Mommy & Daddy got to be in a Dragon Boat Race like Kai-Lan.









Our team WON the all womens division!!!! It's a lot of fun to WIN IT ALL!

Monday Karoline's school went to Alligator Adventure in North Myrtle Beach. We had a great time and Karoline was SO BRAVE. Maybe she has a thing for gators! They were some pretty HUGE gators there and some tiny babies too! And of course she had fun with all her friends! She's really starting to come out of her shell... like the turtles :)
