Barna's Family Christmas Party

We drove to Birmingham to visit with Barna's side of the family. It was obviously a very difficult Christmas for us all and we were so glad we got to spend some time with everyone! Loretta, Barna's sister, was a wonderful hostess as always and we treasured our time with the family! We look forward to this family get together every year.

Barna bought these outfits for the girls after Christmas last year for the girls.
We were so excited it worked out for them to wear them at the same time.

Christmas With Cousins

We spent a few nights in Opelika (right outside of Auburn) for a few nights. Jared's parents her wonderful hostesses and welcomed us all into their home as "home base" for our many different destinations vacation. The girls dressed up right away then we opened gifts. Of course before we went to bed we did play in the snow on this White Christmas.

This is a very bitter sweet Christmas for our family because we know that this will be the last holiday we get to spend with Sarah, Jared, Ella and Lainey. They will be moving very far away and will not be able to return to the states for 3 years probably. So... that will explain why I have taken a MILLION pictures while we have been with them.

White Christmas in Auburn

It was beautiful! We drove 7 hours after opening gifts to Auburn to begin our Christmas vacation trip extravaganza. It started snowing heavily once we hit Atlanta and snowed all the way down to Auburn. We went straight to campus to take some pictures. It was COLD, but fun and I'm so glad we did! I LOVE this place!

Santa Came!

Santa came... Santa Gammy and Gandaddy & Santa PopPop... WOW, LOTS of GIFTS = Spoiled children! Haha... Gammy and Gandaddy came to join in on the fun and open gifts. Karoline and Anderson loved their gifts and really enjoyed playing with them! We even had time for a short ride outside in the new car PopPop gave the kids before cleaning up to hitting the road for Alabama.
