It's appropriately called Beach Blast... it is a BLAST! What a fun night. Dad got us all tickets for my birthday and I could not wait for the kids to go to their first real concert REALLY up close AND it be Third Day and Toby Mac! For those who don't know, Mac Powell, the leader of Third Day, went to my high school and graduated with my sister in law. They started out and played in our little theater and gym many times and I just love their music. And of course I LOVED DC Talk when I was a kid!
So I guess it was kind of like my children getting to see what I grew up with, but all I know was it was FUN and very special! We actually got to meet Toby Mac! Perfect weather, kind of cool, rain held off, but the sad part was my dad had to miss it because he was on a business trip, BOOOO... But fun was had ... And I took a LOT of pictures...
