What A Birthday!

Karoline had a very good birthday but for TJ and I it seemed like the "Terrible 2's" started right on time around 1:49 PM. She woke up with a runny nose so she has not felt great today and that led to her not having a good nap which led to many fits later in the afternoon... but we still managed to have some fun! I let her pick out everything she wanted to eat which was pancakes for breakfast, PB&J with avocado slices and a side of cherry tomatoes' (strange combo I know but she loves it), and cheese pizza, cheese broccoli, and an orange for dinner. We played with all her toys and went outside a lot. She enjoyed opening her cards that she got in the mail and gifts... she got some clothes, toys for Huggums, and some more Dora cups. Thank you to all of you who called, sent cards, posted Happy Birthday comments, etc... She really got into her birthday this year. See the video below!

She started her day off curled up on the sofa with "soft blanket" and some "Dora Mulk" (this is what she calls Milk in the Dora cup) and watched Dora while I cooked breakfast...

I made Karoline a smiley face pancake for breakfast this morning... note to self, never start the day off with sugar!!

We spent most of the morning and afternoon outside on the swing set...

While we were inside we played with the fun tunnel Natalie, Wayne, and ER gave her and the pop up tent Judy and Eddie got her. Oh she had SO MUCH FUN!!

Bragging about my little girl...
- She talks in 3-5 word sentences all the time now. She LOVES to talk... don't know where she got that from.
- She can count to 20 but can make it to 100 if she gets some help
- She knows the 10 commandments (She loves to read this book!)
- Loves to sing the ABC song, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Little Bunny Fu Fu, Jesus Loves Me, Itsy Bitsy Spider, and Happy Birthday
- Loves to color, dance, watch Dora, play outside swinging, sliding, riding her bike, playing basket ball with daddy, helping mommy with Anderson, putting together puzzles, stacking blocks and nocking them over, and crawling all over the dog
- LOVES to entertain and make people laugh
- Loves going to church to see her friends
- LOVES to read at bedtime and still likes to sleep in pitch black darkness
- Loves to give kisses and hugs
- There is so much more to this precious girl but I would be typing all night long... All I know is I LOVE HER TO PIECES and I am so thankful to my Heavenly Father that He has blessed TJ and I with such an amazing, beautiful, and loving little two year old! Thank you Jesus!

Happy Birthday Karoline!

I cannot believe two years ago we were goinig to the hospital because we were concerned that Karoline was not moving. Turned out I was in labor and had no idea! Karoline, my little breech baby, was born at 1:49 PM Karoline Belle was born. I'll post pictures from today later tonight or tomorrow. I LOVE MY SWEET AMAZING GIRL!

Napa Valley

On Monday we took Natalie, Wayne, and Emma Raines to beautiful Napa Valley, California! It was such a beautiful day. We took them to two different wineries. The girls had a TON of fun running all over the place. It was great because they are usually very crouded and it was not crouded at all. We had a picnic at V Sattui Winery and TJ and I got my favorite Gamay Rouge wine to drink with our cheese and crakers! YUMMY!

We Are Having Fun!

We were driving home from Walnut Creek today and I heard Karoline say "Thanks Emma Raines" and I turned around and they were holding hands. It was SO CUTE!!!! Natalie got out her camera and got pictures.


We are having so much fun with Natalie, Wayne, and Emma Raines! Today they will be going to stay in a hotel in the city while Wayne is at his medical conference and Natalie and ER will take the BART in to visit us during the day. Friday we are going to the SF Zoo with Emily and Avery so that should be fun. The weather has been amazing! Natalie has been spoiled. She is not going to want to leave... This is there house in Vermont right now...

Karoline's Birthday Party- TONS of Pictures!

We had a WONDERFUL time during Karoline's birthday party! It was so great having all our close friends over for a BEAUTIFUL day! We prayed and God delivered... It is usually raining here around this time of year. We enjoyed the back yard and the kids all loved the swing set. It was a BIG hit!! I am so glad that Natalie, Wayne, Emma Raines were hear for her birthday! There are a TON of pictures because there are too many good ones... I guess it is mom syndrome.

Natalie, Wayne, and Emma Raines Arrive

Natalie and Wayne arrived yesterday. Emma Raines did great on the flight and has adjusted well to the time change. Karoline LOVED Emma Raines from the moment they saw each other. They are so cute playing together. Emma Raines really likes Whisper!!

This was the last time Emma Raines and Karoline saw each other... It was a little over a year ago!

And NOW.... They are so big!
