Cutest Kids In the World!

I don't have much to say today but I am tired! I did a lot of housework/ organizing today while TJ worked on the swing set a little. Then the kids and I had a birthday party to attend which was fun. Anderson went to bed at 7:30 and Karoline at 8 and now it is time to relax! Tomorrow is a busy day and then we are going to be getting ready for GiGi's arrival on Wednesday!! Yeah! We can't wait!

Oh, I do have to document that Karoline has learned the song Jesus Loves Me and it is precious! She says "Jesus loves me. Jesus loves me. Jesus loves me, Bible me so" I put "me so" in bold because she screams it! It is precious!!!
Anderson playing on the Lazy Anderson!

Silly little girl... she found a pacifier of Anderson's (he does not use them anymore) and put it in her mouth. She also never used one so I am not sure why she wanted it so badly. She cried when I took it away.

Cute little boy...

Anderson loves grabbing toys now and actually playing with them...

I never get sleeping pictures of Karoline anymore but I had to wake her up for a birthday party and she was so out of it I thought it would be a good time.

Some of TJ's progress today. He actually did more after I took the picture. He thinks he should be done by Monday night.

Happy Valentines Day!

Happy Valentines Day!
Well, I actually got up and made pancakes! I tried to make heart shaped pancakes but I didn't do so well... Anyway, they were good. I kept trying to get Karoline to say Happy Valentines Day but she kept saying Happy Birthday! So funny...

I am in major pain today! I took a step class yesterday and my legs and my abs are killing me. My abs hurt so much that it hurts to laugh! I guess after 2 c-sections I need to go a little slower! I am enjoying the workouts though but I'm taking today off. Anyway, here are some pictures and a video...

These are from yesterday... Yeah, daddy forgot to take off Karoline's socks before putting her in the bath! I just had to take a picture!!

This boy LOVES this bunny!!

OH and here is what TJ get to start working on putting together... It's quite large but I got an amazing deal on it!! We were looking for a swing set but didn't know we would get one so big! I am a sucker for a good deal!! We wish Uncle Jared was here to help out!

Karoline on TV

Okay, I made it through my first class at the YMCA and the kids enjoyed the childcare. I am so glad we are joining and I can get in shape!! Anyway, TJ thought of the great idea of video taping the clip of Karoline on TV. I also took a picture for her scrapbook. I love the look on Regis's face! I know she was not on there long but I had my proud mommy moment. I do have a friend in Georgia who said she saw her so that is fun!

Video of Karoline on Regis and Kelly It's a little hard to see but oh well...

I have to add a picture of Anderson so here he is sitting with Miss Misi in our backyard. It was such a beautiful day today!!

Karoline Was On Regis and Kelly!

This was so strange. I never watch Live with Regis and Kelly anymore because Karoline always wants to watch Dora. Well I was nursing Anderson and his foot hit the remote control and the TV went to Regis and Kelly. Normally it is always on ESPN because that is the last thing TJ watches at night. They were about to show baby pictures because it is baby week and I sent in a picture of Karoline so I thought I would watch for a second. A minute later there was the picture of Karoline right behind Regis!!!!! It was only on there for a few seconds but it was so cute!!! I was able to hit record on the DVR so TJ can see it and I'll save it for the grandmothers too. If you have it recorded on your TIVO/ DVR it is about 17 minutes into the show... Just wanted to share... This was the picture I sent them (minus the red eyes- I corrected them before I sent it to Regis and Kelly but I can't find the corrected picture)...

LOTS of PICTURES and A Funny Video

I feel like I have had the camera in my hand all weekend! Maybe it is because I am picture happy or because I have the cutest kids but I have LOTS to post. This should make the grandparents very happy! The weather here has been amazing for the past few days so we have spent a lot of time outside. I just love this taste of spring.

Today we went to the YMCA and are probably going to join. We have a free week trial so I am going to go tomorrow with the kids. Karoline wanted to go into the childcare room so bad while we were there so I think she will enjoy it. They also have classes for her starting in March and swimming lessons coming up soon. I think this will be a good thing for us as a family and I hope to meet some more people in our community. Anyway... Here are the pictures and the video.

Anderson really enjoys being outside...

Cutie face...

Im pretty sure TJ is supposed to be pushing Karoline...

Karoline in motion...

The ball ended up by Whisper...

Sunday morning wearing her monkey dress...

Anderson on Sunday morning wearing his tatoo shirt (It says Mom on it... so fun!)
Oh she was so funny walking around in my boots on Sunday afternoon... see the video for a good laugh!!!

Enjoying the beautiful weather again today...

Anderson took a late nap today because he only had one nap in his crib... this was nap #4 of the day.

He did fit in 30 minutes of play time before being ready for bed at 7:30...

Video
This video is pretty funny... The first part is Anderson. He was laughing and of course as soon as I got the camera out he stopped but it is still cute. The second part is Karoline fake crying. The third part is Karoline walking around the house in my boots!

Happy 60th Gammy!!

I cannot believe my mom is the big 6-0 today!!!! She for sure does not look like she is 60 and she only acts like it sometimes! :) Just kidding!!! We love you so much Gammy and wish we were with you to celebrate!!

TJ's parents got Karoline this cute Tshirt for Christmas. It is a size 3/4 year and it fits her perfectly! Anderson's foot doctor also said that she was the size of his 4 year old daughter! Hehe...

My sweet little man!!

VICTORY

Last night I went to Now Where Cooking to prepare our meals for the month. I gave TJ two bottles for Anderson incase I was not home in time to put him to bed. I last fed Anderson at 3PM and when I called TJ at 7PM he said that Anderson would NOT take the bottle. This little man HATES the bottle but he has to take it at some point (I am desperate for a date with my husband in the next few weeks)!!! So I got home and got out one of Karoline's old bottles that she always took, no problem. HE TOOK IT!!!!! It was wonderful! He didn't like it but he took it!!! Yeah! VICTORY!
Another victory came last night after putting him to bed. He rolled over pretty much when I left him room but he didn't start crying he just kind of sucked on his hands and was content. I looked at the video monitor about 15 minutes later and he was asleep on his back!!! He has not slept on his back since he was like a month old! Maybe now I won't have to spend my nights rolling him back over onto his tummy!
What a hot husband I have! :)

Anderson loves his Peter Rabbit lovey...

Look at those blue eyes!

Karoline got a hair cut today (and so did I, YEAH!)... Before...

After...

Here is a video of Anderson today. You can hear him talk a little. I did not have time to edit it... sorry!

Things that Drive Me Crazy and A Funny Story...

Sorry, no pictures... I posted some yesterday so if you have not seen them check out the post below...

Okay, here are a few things that are driving me crazy, yet I know they are a blessing too in a way because most of them are developmental behaviors which is a good thing, but still...

1. Rolling Over- Andersons new found freedom to roll over is not so cute in the middle of the night!! I remember going through this with Karoline every time she learned a new skill: rolling over, sitting up, pulling herself up, and walking. Until the newness wears off I guess I'll just have to keep rolling him back over. It's funny to watch on the video monitor because he seems so proud of himself but shortly after realizes he can't roll over the other way and go back to sleep.
2. "What's that?"- Karoline is going through that phase of wanting to know what EVERYTHING and who EVERYONE is. Cute... until she says it 1.5 million times a day!
3. "Round dirties"- Also known as Ring Around the Rosy, this is something Karoline wants to do most of the day and I get sick going around in circles! But she loves it so we do it!
4. The bruises on my feet- Yes, Karoline seems to be constantly on my feet while I cook, type on the computer, get ready, etc... But I love it because my little girl likes being with her mommy. Sometimes though I would like to make dinner without someone on my feet pulling down my pants.
5. Teething- I HATE TEETHING and it is enough to guarantee we will NOT have a third child! Enough said!
6. Getting A Toddler Dressed- Aunt Loretta said it perfectly... Karoline is in perpetual motion!! Getting her dressed is like trying to dress a wild animal and I just don't understand why she can't stand still... wait, yes I can, she is almost 2!
7. Karoline's decision making skills- "Watch Dora"... turn Dora on... two minutes later, "Watch Blues"... "Eat Banana"...Banana is cut up and put on her plate... "Eat Oranges". Everything she wants changes in about 2 minutes!
It feels good to get all that out! :)

Okay, here is my funny story. Yesterday after putting dinner in the oven I went to go vote. TJ was with the kids and Karoline was playing with Huggums and putting her to sleep in Anderson's crib. TJ told her to go get Huggums up and get her bottle to feed her... Well, she got Huggums, sat on the sofa where I normally feed Anderson, and pulled up her shirt!! I guess she really does understand what I am doing when I am feeding Anderson!

New Cast

I'll give you a medical lesson. TJ is making a V with his fingers and as you can see the foot fit correctly into the V... This is his "good" foot.

Now compare it to his "bad" foot. You can see that there is a big gap and the foot does not make a V. So this is one way the doctor knew it was Metatarsus Adductus.

Soaking the cast off took 1 HOUR!!! Anderson did really well actually. He only fussed once and that was because it was past his bedtime.

Here is Anderson after he got his new cast. He did great getting his new cast on. It was a better experience than the first.

VIDEO

Here is Anderson getting his cast soaked off, Karoline in the bath saying hello to her relatives, and Anderson on his changing table.
Here is Karoline peaking in the crib to see Anderson. She does this when we go in to get him up from his naps.

CRAZY HAIR!

Karoline usually picks up her Bible and "read" when she wakes up from her nap while she waits for me to go and get her. I wanted to get a picture for her scrapbook.
