Sorry, no pictures... I posted some yesterday so if you have not seen them check out the post below...
Okay, here are a few things that are driving me crazy, yet I know they are a blessing too in a way because most of them are developmental behaviors which is a good thing, but still...
1. Rolling Over- Andersons new found freedom to roll over is not so cute in the middle of the night!! I remember going through this with Karoline every time she learned a new skill: rolling over, sitting up, pulling herself up, and walking. Until the newness wears off I guess I'll just have to keep rolling him back over. It's funny to watch on the video monitor because he seems so proud of himself but shortly after realizes he can't roll over the other way and go back to sleep.
2. "What's that?"- Karoline is going through that phase of wanting to know what EVERYTHING and who EVERYONE is. Cute... until she says it 1.5 million times a day!
3. "Round dirties"- Also known as Ring Around the Rosy, this is something Karoline wants to do most of the day and I get sick going around in circles! But she loves it so we do it!
4. The bruises on my feet- Yes, Karoline seems to be constantly on my feet while I cook, type on the computer, get ready, etc... But I love it because my little girl likes being with her mommy. Sometimes though I would like to make dinner without someone on my feet pulling down my pants.
5. Teething- I HATE TEETHING and it is enough to guarantee we will NOT have a third child! Enough said!
6. Getting A Toddler Dressed- Aunt Loretta said it perfectly... Karoline is in perpetual motion!! Getting her dressed is like trying to dress a wild animal and I just don't understand why she can't stand still... wait, yes I can, she is almost 2!
7. Karoline's decision making skills- "Watch Dora"... turn Dora on... two minutes later, "Watch Blues"... "Eat Banana"...Banana is cut up and put on her plate... "Eat Oranges". Everything she wants changes in about 2 minutes!
It feels good to get all that out! :)
Okay, here is my funny story. Yesterday after putting dinner in the oven I went to go vote. TJ was with the kids and Karoline was playing with Huggums and putting her to sleep in Anderson's crib. TJ told her to go get Huggums up and get her bottle to feed her... Well, she got Huggums, sat on the sofa where I normally feed Anderson, and pulled up her shirt!! I guess she really does understand what I am doing when I am feeding Anderson!
