Auburn VS. Clemson

Almost caught up ;). Guess I should post this before we head to Columbia for the Auburn game tomorrow. Hoping we can WIN this time ;).

We got to go to Clemson with our friends, Mike & Bryant, to see Auburn play... wish it would have resulted in a WIN but it was great just BEING at a football game. We have not been to one since Karoline was 9 months old I think. We went early Friday so they could show us around the campus, eat dinner, and hang out. It was our first time to Clemson. Very similar to Auburn but you know... NOTHING IS Auburn!

Bryant wanted to take us to Mac's Drive In for dinner... It's been featured on ESPN and it's tiny but the food is great! Very set in their ways and keep it simple. The guy next to us asked for 1/2 lemonade and 1/2 sweet tea and the lady said "We don't do that here" about 5 times!
This is it... several bar stools...

Gameday...

We started off with Starbucks... my first pumpkin spice latte of the season and it was perfect... it was chilly outside and felt like perfect football weather! Bryant and Mike dropped us off to tailgate then we met up with them later...

Thankful to see Stacey and her sweet family and get to tailgate with them a little. Stacey was my freshman year roommate at Auburn had I'll never forget the fun we had together!

Touchdown Dyer! If only we had a few more of these :)

It's GREAT to be an AUBURN Tiger!

Very Busy...

Anderson's been busy cutting grass and making sure the swing set it put together correctly... Karoline is busy being a princess... That's my children!

Labor Day Weekend...

We went to our last Pelican's Baseball game of the season. We were so excited because we took the foul ball Anderson got earlier in the summer and had it signed by some players and especially Anderson's favorite player, Jared Prince. It was so fun. Anderson is ready for spring ball already :)

Snapped this picture so fast... doesn't happen often :)
Yummy dinner, pregame...

Karoline's favorite, ice cream...
Anderson running the bases...

Labor Day we went to Pine Lakes with my parents for lunch and the kids got to play a little golf :) They LOVE to putt. The weather was so nice!

Might be a little small Gandaddy...

Ready For Football!

Yes, I'm playing blog catch up! I'm quite behind because all those little things I didn't do during the summer because the kids were with me 24/7 I have been working on the past month. So anyway...

We are excited football season has finally arrived! One day after school Anderson and Karoline wanted to play Auburn cheerleader and football player. They were so cute. I look the computer outside and played YouTube videos with the fight song and other cheers and they had a blast. The last pictures of them before school. They always wear their Auburn gear on Fridays. School spirit! War Eagle!

Kindergarten Update and Babies...

Karoline is adjusting SO well to Kindergarten. She walks into that big school all by herself and loves it! She loves to learn... so much so that we had to explain to her it was okay to dance in class when the teacher wants you to... she feels like you are at school to learn and should not dance! She wants to get down to business! I pray she always has this hunger to learn and succeed! She, of course, gets a star everyday on her conduct calendar and gets to get something out of the "treasure box" at school on Fridays.

She has met some sweet new friends, one of which is a boy named Thatcher! She is going to be boy crazy like me I believe :) haha... Her friends, teachers, everything... we are so very thankful for... God is good!

Babies, babies, everywhere... So many friends having babies (thankful I'm not one of them). We hosted a baby shower for Karoline's teacher at church, Abbie.

Anderson Starts School

(open house)

Anderson started 3 year preschool! I cannot believe my baby is in 3 year preschool and his 4th birthday is around the corner! WHERE HAS THE TIME GONE!? We are thankful he has the same teachers Karoline had, Mrs. Mazie and Mrs. Swezey! He has an older class, many younger 3's from last year repeating and older 3's. This will allow for a little more advanced work load which will be good for him I think. We are looking forward to a great year ahead!
