Valentine's Photo Shoot

We had a little photo shoot to make our Valentine's for their friends.  

It was a very sweet treat and they turned out cute.  

Of course Anderson took it as a chance to be a funny dude :)

Back To School...

 Yep, I'm going back to school.  I started last week and I have 11 weeks to go.  I'm excited, not really sure of the direction I'll go in but TJ and I began talking and praying about me going back to school in October.  I have felt many times like I would like to work part time in the medical field at some point.  I feel like now is a good time...

We have a great technical college here with a nursing school, many other options in the medical field, and a Physical Therapy Assistant program. I feel led to the Physical Therapy Assistant program but I'm not sure I'll be able to get in, but I know God will direct me and I'm confident He will provide.  So I will try and get the best grades possible in my pre-rec classes and then I'll apply for the program next February.

I am taking Anatomy & Physiology and Psychology this semester.  So far so good and I'll tell you I could not do it without my amazing husband.  He's been cooking dinner, cleaning, doing even more with the kids so I can study.  It's paying off.  Got A's on everything so far so I hope I can keep it up.

The kids have adjusted well and we will see where this leads... so now we pack 3 backpacks :)

School Days...

We can't believe Karoline has been in Kindergarten for 101 days!  She is doing GREAT! 

 She is reading very well and loves to learn.  She is very blessed with an amazing teacher and sweet friends.  It's been a great year!  Karoline & Emma off the bus.

Aquarium!

I went with Anderson's class to the Ripley's Aquarium on Friday.  He was really excited to go because "Sharky", their mascot, is always at the baseball games and he LOVES Sharky!  The real sharks, not so much... Haha.. Anderson has the same teachers as Karoline and they remembered her reaction walking through "the tunnel"... we all thought Anderson would do better and he did but he wanted Mrs. Swazy to hold him the whole time.  It took him a while to warm up.  When we left I let him get a Sharky stuffed animal since when we took Karoline she got her baby dolphin.  He LOVES Sharky!

WOW... Better Late Than Never!

Shame on me... how did I forget to do a post on our trip to Charleston in October to see my friend Will and the Zac Brown Band!!!!   Will and I have been friends since we were babies... our birthdays are just 2 years apart.  Friends groaning up, the moved across the street from us in high school, and trips visiting in college.  He's always been like a brother to me.  Will got married and he and his wife Jennie moved to Nashville.  Will was hooked up with a try out for an up and coming artist, Sonia Leigh, and she hired him for their tour. 

Sonia Leigh is on Zac Browns record label and we were thrilled that they were playing together in Charleston.  Dad wanted to get the BEST seats in the house, and we got them.  It was an incredible day.  When we were in high school Will would not play guitar in front of ANYONE!  And to see him on the big stage was so fun.  We got to see Will play, other bands, and Zac Brown!  TJ was more than willing to baby sit while we had our fun... he's not a fan of country music!
