Happy Father's Day to TJ, Gandaddy, & PopPop!

Well, you know I am going to say it and it is the truth... TJ is the BEST Daddy in the WORLD!!! He really is just amazing and I am SO blessed to have him as a husband and a father to my children. He is the most giving, selfless, understanding, godly man that I know. Karoline and Anderson just adore him completely and they just LOVE him so much!

TJ and I both were raised my amazing fathers. My dad and TJ's dad, Kerry (AKA PopPop), are both wonderful grandfathers! Karoline and Anderson just love spending time with them and we really cannot wait to see PopPop in just a few weeks! We love yall so much!

For Father's Day we went to Sea Captain's House for breakfast. We had so wait a little bit for our table but it was a great opportunity for pictures :) My dad was playing golf and he came to join us when he finished. Faith and Sara were there too and I think we would all agree that it was a WONDERFUL breakfast! It's my new top breakfast place! The kids eat free and you can't beat that the the prices were very good! Plus you have a perfect view of the beach! What more could you ask for!? But it was fun. Before we went to breakfast TJ opened his gift which was a Cleveland Indians hat that he has been wanting for over a year now and a movie.

After breakfast and having to say goodbye to Faith and Sara we played at the pool and tried to stay cool until nap time... now we are relaxing :)

Karoline was like a sad little puppy looking at the pool while we were waiting to be seated!
Wild Man- This is Anderson... MOST of the day he's like this.... except when he is sleeping... LOTS of energy :)

We wish we could celebrate with you PopPop but we will see you SOON! We love you!

Two of my best friends from Auburn, Sara and Faith, came to visit this weekend! We had a BLAST and I will probably post those pictures tomorrow... for now I am going to watch golf with my hubby and BEST dad in the world!

Gymnastics

Today was Karoline's first day of GYMNASTICS! She has a GREAT time. We got there early and watched their competition cheer squad practice and she just LOVED it. Then when it was time for her class she just ran into the gym so fast. She is probably the youngest in the class but she did great. Her teachers said she did a great job and was so willing to try everything. I as a parent really enjoyed watching her learn new things and just enjoy herself. I got to meet some new mom's too and that was fun. I am thankful that Karoline will have this opportunity this summer and hopefully again in the fall. She is our little gymnast.

Wacky Girls Night Out

A few of our friends coordinated a Wacky Girls Night Out- Bridesmaid Bowling. I didn't have a bridesmaids dress but my sweet friend Shannon gave me a prom dress to borrow. We had a BLAST! Some of the bridesmaids dresses that people had to wear were SOOOOO bad! There was one with a small bow right on the BUTT and it was SO horrible! There was another who's train was longer than my wedding dress train, which made it hard to bowl but oh it was funny! It was a ton of fun I am SO thankful for the group of friends God has blessed me with here. Here are some pictures so hope you get a good laugh!

Lets Head To The Beach...

Tuesday we met up with our friends, Amanda with Grayson & Hannah and Danielle with David and Jon, at the beach... It was a perfect day and we had a great time. The kids are starting to get more comfortable at the beach but Karoline and Anderson are still afraid a little bit because the waves can be so loud. But they enjoy playing in the sand...

So of course we were nasty by the time we left... we followed Amanda's great suggestion and made a stop at the pool on the way home. Anderson and I mostly watched TJ and Karoline play but it was great to get "clean" after being at the beach. Karoline LOVES being at the pool so we stayed for a little while so she could jump and play with daddy. It was a great day and I just wish we could do it every day :)

Also, make sure you check out the new post on our Wellspring Partners Blog.

Jon- Is he not just SO CUTE!?

Sun Fun Festival 2009 (Without The Sun)

Have you ever seen this movie? Shag is my ALL TIME FAVORITE movie and has been for a LONG LONG time! Which is kind of funny now that I get to live in Myrtle Beach. I look back and think maybe God was planting a little seed of love for MB in my heart a LONG time ago... Anyway, in the movie the girls go to the annual Sun Fun Festival... well, we got to go with year!

There was no sun shining outside but we had a GREAT time. Only wish we went earlier in the morning because there was way more there to do than we thought. Karoline had a blast in the bouncy houses and slides and she got to see The Backyardigans (from a distance- Karoline will NOT get close!) We also got to see the Chick-Fil-A cow and I'm not sure she will ever let us eat there again. Live cows are NOT Karoline's thing :) I felt so bad for the cow because of her reaction when trying to get their picture with him so we took a picture with me instead :)

Later that night they had Lifehouse in concert. TJ and I went back for a great date night and it was awesome to get to see Lifehouse in concert. While we were sitting in traffic leaving we got to see a fireworks show. It was really fun and next year we will plan better and bring the whole family and lots of our friends! Gotta love FREE family fun!

Karoline, Gandaddy, & My Quick Georgia Adventure

Karoline, Dad, and I had such a wonderful but very quick trip to Georgia. We left Sunday morning at 6AM and got home today at 4:30AM. Karoline was so good on the trip and she is at such a fun age for traveling. She gets really excited about visiting people and it's so easy traveling with her now since she does not have to take a bed, booster/ highchair seat, and toys! Hope you enjoy ALL the pictures. I know it's a lot but I took 229 pictures over the past 2 1/2 days... I just posted a few highlights.

First Stop: Griffin, GA
We visited my grandmother, Mama Perkins, Aunt Betty Jo, and my Uncle Steve who had never met Karoline. We arrived around lunch time and they had YUMMY BBQ waiting for us... it was so good. Mama looked great and she was so excited Karoline was with us... we didn't tell her she was coming. Karoline took a nice almost 3 hr nap because we had to leave the house at 6AM so we had lots of great visiting time.

After her nap we took her to Dairy Queen where she had her FIRST dipped cone! She LOVED it (of course) and she discovered you could eat a cone. She has never had a cone before. It was such a wonderful relaxing day spent with family that I love so much!

My uncle's Chevelle... it's BEAUTIFUL!

Staying With The Ross's & Meeting Baby Lee
Sunday night we got to Judie and Eddies right at Karoline's bedtime. But we got to hang out a little and enjoy breakfast together and went out to their beautiful backyard where I could take pictures all day long. After we went to see Emilie and got to meet Baby Lee. He is SO precious! Karoline was just in love with him. She held him for so long and even feed him is morning bottle. She just LOVES babies! It was such a fun visit even though it was quick!

Meeting Cohen Andrew & Landry Kate and Playing With Kylie
Judy took Karoline and I to visit Kim, Kylie, Cohen, and Debbie for lunch at Kim's house. It was so fun to watch the girls play... especially with their matching backpacks (Kylie got one from Cohen as a Big Sister gift) and princess shoes. They had a blast playing together! Cohen is just precious and looks so much like Kim to me. He is perfect! Kylie is a very proud big sister! During the girls nap time my college roommate Stacey and now Kim's neighbor came over so I could meet her 4 week old daughter, Landry. She is beautiful. I totally got my baby fix!

Landry Kate. She is beautiful! I am SO glad I got to hold her while she slept!

Visiting Brent, Leigh, Jackson, & Pressley
We got to spend a little time visiting my brother and his family. Karoline loves spending time with them and looks up to her cousins so much. Jackson & Pressley spent the night at the hotel with dad but Karoline and I spent the night with Brent and Leigh. Karoline thought it was so cool that Uncle Brent read her a story and laid down with her for a few minutes before bed. Then we went to the hotel for a yummy breakfast in the morning before hitting the road. We can't wait to see them lots this summer!

Well, now that my fun is over my work week begins... I have so much to do but it will get done!
