In November we closed on this piece of land from the light pole on the left and the electrical boxes that you see on the right. The neighborhood is

We finalized a house plan (we think) and went to pick out the house exterior colors in early December and everything is getting close so we can submit the plans to the neighborhood board and wait on approval. Once we get approval we can start building!
Right before Christmas dad and I rode by the lot and saw that the surveyors had come and I have never been so happy to see steaks in the ground! I feel like slowly but surely we are making progress.... I think we are all ready for the ground breaking ceremony! :)
